This device also allows you to setup a wireless network that can enable the use of an iPad for remote monitoring. Teradek also has an iPad app that can be very useful for on set applications, check it out here.

Red Digital Cinema announced that they were beginning to upgrade...

Red Digital Cinema announced that they were beginning to upgrade the existing MX sensors to their new Dragon sensor. Check out the mini assembly line that they set up at their booth on the NAB show floor.

Red Digital Cinema announced some new stuff early Monday morning...

RED ROCKET-X is a supercharged version of the RED ROCKET processing .R3D files from Scarlet, Epic MX and Epic Dragon cameras up to 5x faster than the current Rocket.

Provides an incredibly light low profile EVF mount with Tilt adjustment. height="225" frameborder="0">

Vimeo has introduced an interesting alternative to releasing your films on iTunes. Apple typically keeps 30% of the revenue generated from content that is distributed on iTunes. This new model Vimeo is introducing is interesting because Vimeo is only going to be entitled to 10% of the profits. Apple is able to justify taking 30% because they have one of the biggest audiences in the world. I am curious to see how this plays out and if Vimeo can give Apple a run for their money.

Tue, 12 Mar 2013 12:37:00 Phantom Flex Camera and the use of a motion controller to accomplish some awesome footage. I had the pleasure of shooting with Nicholas Schrunk for some Red Bull stuff with professional freeskier Bobby Brown and the guy is brilliant. This is one example of his brilliance…

Thu, 07 Mar 2013
